Treatment & Prevention of Ulcers..."Regular or Extra Strength DRAW"
Give 30cc orally with a syringe twice a day before feeding for 30 days to treat ulcers(takes 2 bottles to treat for 30 days). Then, give 30cc orally once a day to prevent. I give 10cc's at a time with a syringe. I tilt their head up little and give it. I do not put it on their feed. Dr. Mitchell in OK said to give it with a syringe orally before I feed. You should notice a difference in a few days to a week, but all horses are different. You can use either Regular or Extra Strength for Ulcers. The instructions on the bottle are only for external use, but they are for Ulcers also. Just can’t market for both on the same product. (Dr. Mitchell can be contacted at 918-367-2257)
Loose or "Popping" Stifles...
Make a "mix" with 1 cup DRAW, 1 cup DMSO, 2 cups of Water.
Spray the inside, outside, and front of stifle joint....brush through the hair and down to the skin with a brush. Use once a day before workouts, or competition. If possible allow the horse to stay outside and not in a stall until stifles have tighten. (Horses should be worked regularly to achieve best results)
For the Treatment of Bowed Tendons, Sprains, Swollen Areas, Etc. ...
To treat "without" a wrap...
Mix 1 cup Extra Strength DRAW, 1 cup DMSO, 2 cups of Water. Spray area throughly, and brush sown through hair to the skin. Limit the amount of exercise the horse is allowed.
To treat "with" a wrap...
Mix 1 cup Extra Strength DRAW & 1 cup Water. Apply to affected area, or leg thoroughly. Spray on large gauze pads(I use panty liners). Place on both sides of leg, and wrap leg with wet brown paper bags. Keep in place with No-Bow Cotton wraps & standing wraps. Save leftover mixture in a spray bottle, or syringe, to re-apply to inside of wraps every few hours to keep moist.
For use on Humans....
I use DRAW/Water on myself, or straight without mixing, and depending on what I'm using it for....I will either spray it on, and let it dry(like my back, hip, or shoulder)....... or wrap(something like a knee, foot, hand etc.)
Spray well, and then wrap with that cheese cloth type gauze you get at a pharmacy that's about the size of a roll of vet wrap. Wrap it 2 or 3 times with gauze wrap, and spray gauze with DRAW to get it good and wet. Then, wrap with plastic wrap to keep it wet longer, and so it will not get your furniture or clothes wet. Then, wrap with vet wrap...
(I use plastic wrap like from your kitchen. I cut mine into 3 rolls with a hand saw so it's like a roll of vet wrap, and easier to use on me and my horses when I sweat a leg, or wrap with no bows and clay, Green Jelly, etc.)
